AGENCIES MUMBAI, NOV 20: Gold has again hit a historic high and touched Rs 17,300 per ten grams. Surging by Rupees 110 per ten grams in the opening session of trading today, it is said to have reached a new high. Silver rose by Rupees 260 per kg to touch Rupees 28,955 per kg, following speculative demand from industrial users along with bullish trend in global markets, claimed traders at the Bombay Bullion Association.
The same trend was reported from London and Asian markets, as Gold was recorded at all time high at 1,145.00/1,145.02 per troy ounce and silver at 18.55/18.57 per troy ounce, the traders added.
Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg).999 grade: Rs 28,955; Gold (per 10 gm) 99.5 purity Standard mint : Rs 17,300 Gold 99.9 purity Standard: Rs 17,390 .
