| 10-day short term training course for crèche workers begins | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar Nov 21- Social Reforms Charitable Organization (SRCO) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir State Welfare Institute organized 10- day short term training course for crèche workers at Ashiana Orphanage center Kishtwar, which was attended by more then hundred female workers and helpers of about 60 crèche center, The organization is run under Rajiv Gandhi National Crèche Scheme for children of working mothers. According to the chairman SRCO Sanjeev Parihar, the aim and objective of organizing such short term training course for crèche workers is to aware them about the modern methods and techniques used for feeding the children. He said that more than 1000 children across the District are attending these crèche centers and want to make sure that their workers and helpers provide better care to every child who was attending such crèche centers.
While addressing the crèche workers president woman wing SRCO Nusrat Farooq said that the children were the future of the nation and urged upon the workers to work with zeal and zest, so as to come up to the expectation of the working parents who send their wards in these centers. She urged upon the workers to educate the woman about their duties in building the healthy society. She said that our society particularly youths have fallen pray to many bad habits and said that the role of woman as a mother is very important in checking the menace of Drug abuse, cigarette smoking, alcohol drinking, etc. she said that today’s woman were facing the hardships in day to day life and were becoming the victims of social crime and urged upon the woman community to fight united against the social crime committed upon the woman and report the matter related to crime on woman either to police or his organization.
