The Kashmir Council reminded the Kashmiris that had there been no jurisdiction of Supreme Court as is being demanded by NC, PDP and some others angry groups, there would have been no relief for four million prepaid mobiles subscribers in the state today.
The Kashmir Council said that Supreme Court of India and Election Commission of India is the lifeline of democracy and civil rights for the people of J&K. The Council has also decided to convene Intra J&K heart to heart talks in Jammu and Srinagar before March 2010.
The Kashmir Council has also strongly condemned proposal of US President Barrack Obama to make China a mediator to monitor talks between India and Pakistan. It maintained that China has no role except to vacate our land measuring 20,000 sq. miles in Ladakh and 5,000 sq. miles in Karakoram immediately.
Addressing the meeting Prof Singh asked the party activists to get ready for the final battle for their ultimate revolution and liberation from the corrupt, communal and criminal leadership in J&K which has been exploiting our people for 60 years.
