| JKMS bags first prize in quiz competition | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 21: A quiz competition “Bharat Ko Jano” organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad in the premises of JK Montessorie (JKMS) senior secondary school, Tirath Nagar at Talab Tilloo. The competition was held in two categories viz. junior group and the senior group. Four teams from different schools participated in each group and there were nine rouds of testing the knowledge and understanding about the culture, traditions and heritage of India among our new generation which is virtually cut off from all this. Competition proved interesting, innovative and purposeful. JK Montessorie school won the first prize in senior group and second prize in junior group. The winners qualified for the state level competition and were awarded with the trophies and certificates by the chief guest Pavitar Singh Ji. He praised the noble work of spreading awareness about the great glory and cultural heritage of India among the young. He also appreciated the interest, hard work and dedication shown by the participants.
