| Enhance cash relief of migrants: Koul | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 21: Chairman rural development society of migrant cell Ashok Koul has hailed the steps being taken by the steps being taken by the state government and central government for the welfare of the migrants. He thanked the government led by Omar Abdullah for the welfare of whole state. Koul in a statement asked the government to take the concrete steps for the implementation of the PM”s package including providing employment to unemployed youth. He also demanded to complete the construction of migrant two room tenements at Jagti, so that they may be allotted to the camp dwellers and non-camp migrants. Koul thanked advisor to CM Mubarak Gul for giving patient hearing to the deputations of migrants of camps and non-camps and assuming them of all help for the redressal of their grievances and problems.
Koul also requested the government for enhancing the cash relief by rupees ten thousand in these hard times. When prices of essential commodities has risen sharply. He further requested that a large section of migrant employees are not getting HRA and CCA and this discrimination should be eliminated.
He further requested the government to introduce the temple and shrine bill of Kashmir temples and shrines bill of Kashmir temples and shrines in the coming session of Assembly. This is very essential for the protection of cultural heritage.
