| Dogra Hr. Sec School organizes sports meet | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 21: Dogra Higher Secondary School organized annual sports meet at Dogra Ground, were minister of state for higher education, co-operative, finance and planning, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma was the chief guest while the Gulchain Singh Charak, Chairman Dogra Academy Society was the guest of honour. The games started with the demonstration of Judo Karate.
The chief guest in his speech appreciated the efforts made by the institution and stressed that the games must be the part and parcel of the education, co-curricular activities to boost the physical standard and mental ability of the students.
Charak in his presidential speech threw light on how the school progressed over the years since its inception. The medals (gold, silver and bronze) were given among the best adjudged students in different events by Samar Dev Singh Charak principal of school as special guest and praised the efforts of staff, students and parents who make the event a grand success.
