| NGO for action against paper leakage accused | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 22: The shocking news related to the leakage plus open sale of 1st year “elementary teachers training course” English paper of J&K state board of school education by some miscreants continuously being observed for the one week. Recently names of some persons related to Jammu based ETT institutions were also disclosed in the leading Jammu dailies referring the Jammu police investigations. As per Deep Singh, president People Action and Public Accountability (PAPA) as Jammu university is concerned, in context of the above exposures no follow up is observed till date except news in some news papers i.e. “exams reforms are on the top agenda of Jammu university” where as J&K state board of school education after an official enquiry canceled the examination of leaked ETT course English paper and fixed 25th. November as it’s new date along with the re-examination of ETT Punjabi paper on 26th of November. The surprising part in context he said is unfortunate incidents is the impolite attitude of the state government and its executive agencies including the state police, government and the crime branch. Not a single statement from higher education or school education ministry of the state is observed related to such unfortunate and damaging trends developing in the prestigious institutions. PAPA-NGO vide its letter dated November 16, 2009 has brought the issue in the notice of chief minister but no follow-up is observed so for. It is the collective responsibility of every citizen to raise voice against such untoward incidents |
