| Casually arranged teachers demand regularization | | | Early Times Report DODA, Nov 22- To continue its struggle against discrimination meted out to the Contractual lectures of the state, All Jammu and Kashmir Academic Arrangement Forum (JKAAF) today held one day meet here at Doda city in the premises of Green Model Hr Sec School where Contractual lecturers of Ramaban, Kishtwar, Bhaderwah ,Gundoh and other far off places of the district participated in hundreds. The meeting held under the chairmanship of its District president Arif Najar strongly criticized the state government polices towards the youth .The speakers said that on one hand the government is making commitments with people while on the other it has failed to fulfill the promises made earlier. They said that only two months back government assured all Contractual employees that would be regularized but at the same time it is totally silent on the issue of Academic arrangement lecturers. They lecturers have been working in far flung areas for the last seven to eight years and some of them have even crossed the upper age limit. They demanded that all contractual lecturers should be regularized and their salaries increased on the pattern of permanent lecturers, besides providing the benefits of 6th pay commission. Those who spoke at the meeting were .Shahid Ahmed, Mukhtiar Ahmed Malik, Vinay Kumar, Nazena Sheikh, Mansoor Qadir, Muzaffir Ahmed Wani, Ashafaq Ahmed, Hasim Banday, Ashcan Kumar and Pawan Kumar. |
