Srinagar, Nov 23: Expressing sympathies with the Agriculture technocrats who are on hunger strike for last so many days at press club Jammu PDP Youth president Bashir Assad today criticized the present regime for not taking cognizance in this regard.

Bashir Assad said that the government is totally indifferent towards youth of the state and that the educated people engaged by previous coalition government under different schemes are deliberately being made to suffer.

He said that in 2007 while issuing engagement orders to Agriculture technocrats under Rehbari-e- Zirat scheme were promised of regularizing services after every one year but so far the government has failed to keep its promise of making the services of contractual

and adhoc appointees on regular basis, he alleged and demanded immediate redressal of the just and genuine demands of rehbari-e-Zirat employees and also asked for release of emoluments to thousands of daily wagers and casual labourers on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha.
