| Jodhamal school wins JASC annual debate | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 23: Jammu Adventure Sports Club held its 11th interschool debate competition today at the Jodhamal Public School, Jammu. The motion for the debate was “Is Abolition of 10th Board Exams Beneficial” 24 participants from over 12 leading schools took part in the lively session. The function was presided over by Zahida Khan, Director School Education, Jammu. The guest of honour Krishna Bhatti, Principal, Jodhamal Public School, Channi Himmat. The Judges were Neetu Ghulati, member Jammu adventure sports club, Geetabjali Rana, HOD English Deptt. of Govt College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, and Rita Jain, Principal Tawish College. The convenors of the debate programme were Sarla Kohli and Aparna Kuthiala.
Speaking on the occasion, the secretary of Jammu Adventure Sports Club, Sandeep Sethi gave his history of the club whose aims are encouraging Adventure Sports, Promotion of Cultural Heritage and Protection of the Environment. The Rolling Trophy was bagged by Jodhamal School. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes were won by Navindu Khajuria and Aditya Singh.
Zahida Khan and Krishna Bhatti lauded the activities of the Jammu adventure sports club and were highly appreciative of the high quality performance of the students.
