| Communal harmony week celebrated | | |
Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 23: In an ongoing part of celebration of communal Harmony week, a Kavi Samelan was organized jointly by Hindi and English departments. The programme began with the traditional lighting of lamp ceremony by chief guest Dr. Jai Krishan Sharma, principal, Government Higher Secondary School Julaka Mohalla and principal of the SOS school Mohd. Ayub. The students enthralled the audience by reciting self composed poems highlighting the theme of national integration, communal harmony and universal brotherhood. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of students for highlighting the different themes through their poems and said that they have to play a big role for keeping the unity and integrity of country as they are the future of the nation. Principal, Mohd Ayub emphasized the need to foster the spirit of communal harmony and national integration.
Manmeet Kour, Anushika Gupta and Anushika Joshi, Akansha Pandita and Shaleen Sharma stood I, II and III in middle class results, while Rohan Koul, Ayush Giggoo and Versha, Sarleen Kour and Rohit Bhat secure Ist, 2nd and 3rd place in senior secondary class results.
