Two held for breaking ATM

Jammu, Nov 23 : Two people were apprehended today for making an attempt to break Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) in this winter capital of Jammu and Kashmir.
''Two youths made an unsuccessful attempt to loot an ATM of the State Bank Of India (SBI) late last night in Janipur area,'' police told UNI.
They were arrested this morning after being identified with the help of a CCTV installed at the ATM booth, police said, adding that the accused had damaged the ATM.
The accused were identified as Arvind alias Vicky Pandita, son of Tej Nath and Dheeraj Singh, son of Late Ranjit Singh, both residents of Durga Nagar, Janipur.
''A case under sections 379, 511 and 427 RPC has been registered against them,'' police added.
