| Soz reviews Haj preparations | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 24-Prof Saif- ud-Din, leader of the Indian Haj 2009 Goodwill Delegation reviewed preparations of Haj 2009. More than 1, 65, 000 Indian pilgrims are performing Haj this year.
Prof Soz along with other Delegation members visited Azizia and Makkah and interacted with the pilgrims and listened some of their grievances. He immediately directed Indian Haj Mission officials to redress these immediately. The Delegation also visited the Indian Haj Mission office and the 50-bedded hospital at Jarwal (Makkah). The delegation also enquired about the health of patients and requested the mission to ensure speedy recovery so that they perform the Haj. The Consul General assured the leader of the delegation that the special ambulances would be arranged to take them to Arafat. The leader of the delegation and other delegates expressed utmost satisfaction about the arrangements made for pilgrims by the Indian Haj Mission.
