| Take Cujjars into confidence during talks on Kashmir issue: Poswal | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 24- Akhil Bhartiya Gujjar Maha Sabha J&K today appealed the Government of India to involve and take into confidence the Gujjar community of J&K during talks on Kashmir issue.
Addressing media persons here today, ABGMS president Eshfaq-ur-Rehman Poswal said that tribal community constitutes more than 40% of the state population and are to be included during talks while working out any solution of the vexed Kashmir issue.
He said that we have been demanding since long creation of separate tribal affairs ministry in J&K state on the pattern of other states of India to vouchsafe the interest of this community. He again stressed upon the state government to create the ministry without any further delay.
Poswal reiterated the demand that inter district appointments must be allowed to safeguard the interests of schedule caste and schedule tribes.
Poswal expressed that some vested interests have been trying to divide the community by creating misunderstanding among the Gujjar and Bakarwal community by creating deliberate distortion and misinformation to meet their political interests. He asked the Gujjar and Bakarwal community to be cautious against the evil designs of such enemies of the community
