| 361 dwelling units raised under IAY | | |
RAJOURI, SEPTEMBER 05 - As many as 361 below poverty line families were provided financial assistance for construction/ upgradation of their houses under Indira Awas Yojna in Rajouri district during last financial. An amount of Rs. 97.09 lakh was disbursed to these families.
Similarly under SGRY, a central sponsored scheme, an amount of Rs. 489.96 lakh was spent on completion of 1239 rural works under the scheme as a result of which 2.90 lakh mandays were generated during the period. Simultaneously, Rs. 65.98 lakh were spent on establishment of 414 income-generating units besides providing technical skills to 414 Swarozgaries under the scheme during the reported period.
