Jammu, Nov 25: In connection with ‘communal harmony’ week, SOS Hermann Gmeiner school organized a ‘Quami Ekta Rally’, which started from Maulana Azad stadium and terminated at SOS school. The rally was flagged off by the SSP, Jammu, Basant Kumar Rath, who was the chief guest on the occasion.
While addressing the rally, SSP lauded the students for their effort and said that our country (India) is unique in the whole world, where people of every religion are free to express freely and enjoy equal opportunities.
As per press release rally passed through different parts of the city like Jewel Chowk, Canal Road, Talab Tillo etc holding placards and banners highlighting the message, students raising the slogans on communal harmony and brotherhood. Large number of people and prominent citizens of different communities also participated in rally and encouraged the students for their efforts. The network communications, State Bank of India, Talab Tilloo, Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee Pacca Grat, M/s Vardhman Departmental Store, M/s Muktanand Auto Aids etc.
