It was found that orders passed by chief justice pertaining to withdrawal of cases by or against PSC, from all court to be listed before chief justice’s court only is creating lot of confusion and problems. As per press release litigants will suffer badly because of loosing right of appeal and in case the cases are listed before division bench, multiple problems of listing and passing of interim direction. In case the cases are listed before the single bench, problems will be further compounded when chief justice will be holding court at Srinagar. The Bar members have genuine grievances of not being treated with respect and dignity in the court of chief justice, where appearance even by senior advocates also is terrifying experience and no regard is being shown to their age and stature. The executive committee has resolved that the boycott of court of chief justice till the administrative orders are withdrawn and assurance will be given, the Bar members are treated with due respect. The work in other courts will resume from November 11 to be reviewed on holding of the court by chief justice at Jammu, beside memorandum in this regard will be submitted to chief justice of India and Union Law Minister.
