| JJSF protest against celebration of Kashmir Day | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 25- Jammu Joint Students’ Federation (JJSF) held a strong demonstration in protest against the celebration of Kashmir Day by some state leaders in Delhi. JJSF activists along with the students of GGM Science College and SPMR College boycotted their classes and gathered at college ground. The protestors were led by Sahil Choudhary, President GGM Science College, Abhay Sharma, Vice-President and Ashutosh Sharma.
Addressing the protestors Partap Singh, State Vice President, JJSF wanted to know the rationale for celebrating the birth anniversary of late Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah and ignoring the Maharaja Hari Singh when the state was one. He charged government of ignoring the top ranking leaders of Jammu and questioned the necessarily of celebrating Kashmir Day and not Jammu and Kashmir Day especially the day the state joined the Indian Union 60 years ago.
