| Army Chief pays obeisance at Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 25 : The Chief of Army staff General Deepak Kapoor today paid obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine situated in Trikuta Hills of mountainous Reasi district, police sources here said.
‘’Accompanied by his wife, General Kapoor this morning reached Katra base camp and trekked seven-kilometre stretch to Adh Kuwari on foot,’’ police sources told UNI adding that the General reached Bhawan in battery car from Adh Kuwari.
‘’After having darshans of natural pindis (heads) at Shrine, General Kapoor returned in the afternoon,’’ police sources added.
The Army Chief yesterday reached Jammu to participate in the inauguration of Balidan Satambh.
