| DIET organizes seminar on women empowerment | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Nov 26-Seminar on women empowerment was organized by DIET Doda in the premises of Government Higher Secondary School Girls in which ten speakers of various educational institutions participated and stressed the need for women empowerment. Principal DIET A K Bhat inaugurated the seminar.
Speaking on the occasion Bhat reminded the women folk about their rights and privileges and urged them to come forward and help in nation building. Bhat said gone are the days when women were confined within the four walls of the home adding women are marching ahead in different spheres of life. Bhat impressed upon the women folk to derive maximum benefits from the schemes launched for their welfare.
Meanwhile 10-day teachers’ orientation program concluded at Government High School Thatri in which 44 teachers from all over the district participated. During the program different teaching skills were imparted to the participating teachers |
