| JK Bank organizes live Hajj screening | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Nov.26- J&K Bank organized a 2-day public screening of live Hajj proceedings from Mecca at different locations here today.
Scores of people turned up to watch the proceedings beamed through big projectors at Gunj Baksh Park (Nowhatta), Public Park near Ziyarat Dastigeer Sahib (Khanyar) and Sher-i-Kashmir Park, near Polo Ground.
The screening shall continue tomorrow as well. People who watched live Hajj hailed the Bank’s gesture and appreciated the organization for such initiatives.
“It was a wonderful experience to watch Hajj proceedings on big screens. Though I own a TV and could have watched the proceedings at home but cultural gatherings like these make the experience more profound. The feeling was different and the facility provided a feel of proximity”, observed a devotee at the screening venue in Nowhatta.
