| 5 day of festival | | YMP organizes inter school competition on science and technology | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 26: An inter school competition on science and technology was organized by youth movement for peace (YMP) at Maharaja Hari Singh Zanane Park here today.
In the competition about 20 different schools of Jammu participated in which many projects were on the topic of pollution, like green chemistry and global warming. Some projects also included electronic models and natural cycles existing on the earth.
Prof. Rajnikant (H.O.D. physics and electronics, Jammu university), Prof. NK Tripathi (ex-president, JUTA), Bhushan Kesar (Director, Kesar Art Circle), BB Sharma (Assistant Floriculture Officer) and Ankush Kesar (Deptt. Fine Arts) were the present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, chairman YMP, Vikas Sharma said “Indian brain is the most intelligent brain and if we direct the students to utilize their energy and concentration in a right direction, the day is not be far when India will rule the world,” and added that such competition should be organize to encourage the students and get them recognize their capability and talent.
Rekha Sharma, Ranjana Sharma, Neeraj Dheer, Sanna Khan, Janak and Dhritti Sharma were also present on the occasion. |
