Anusuchit Jaati Aarakshan Bachao Manch organized a day long session after organizing a memorial service to pay homage to 26/11 Martyrs, the members highlighted the issues of Scheduled Castes the Anusuchit Jaati
The occasion named Samvidhan Samaan Samaroh was held at Jammu with a vetern social leader of repute & founder of this Manch Indresh Kumar as its chief guest
Indresh Kumar, said the provision of reservation was granted because the then society practiced untouchability and the framers of the constitution envisaged this provision in order to give social equality and it was not on the basis of religion.
He accused the successive government for diluting the very concept of reservation to SCs by extending its benefits to even those who have embraced Christianity and Islam. ‘Such a decision if implemented will harm the interests of the SCs. Hence, this manch has been constituted at National level to educate the society about the attempts being made by the Union government for political gains only, he said.
Former MLA & Manch Spokesperson Bali Bhagat criticized the state government for its move to ban inter district recruitment in Jammu and Kashmir. He informed that the Manch will organize one day programme on November 30th at Press Club, Jammu, in order to educate more people about the anti-SC move of the government and bring them under the umbrella of Anusuchit Jaati Aarakshan Bachao Manch.

Naryal, Vetern SC leader Sant Ram Bhagat, Col. Retd. Swarn Singh, Gulab Chand were prominent among those who took part in the function. |
