Nov 27: The students and staff of MV international senior secondary school celebrated Eid festival in the school premises here today.
Congratulating the audience on the occasion, the chairman, Hira Lal Abrol emphasized the need of inculcating among the students, the qualities of tolerance and respect for all religions. He said celebration of religious festivals in the school helps in developing these qualities among the students which are necessary for peace, progress and unity of our nation.
Teachers and students speaking on the occasion highlighted the message of universal brotherhood and cooperation which are the basic tenets of Islam.
The whole atmosphere was full of religious fervour.
Muneer Malik R/o Dhamore Yakh, a prominent resident of the locality while addressing expressed his happiness for being the part of the celebration.
