Jammu, November 27- BJP National General Secretary Ram Lal has said that the Union Government is trying to appease the separatists under the grab of ‘Quiet Diplomacy’.
Ram Lal who is a day’s visit to Jammu today addressed a high level meeting of senior leaders, State office bearers and MLAs at party headquarters. He said that the party high command is keeping eye on the recent developments in the state and added that the BJP will soon chalk out an action plan and will educate workers and the general public about the move of the union government. It was unanimously pledged that BJP will not sit as a silent spectator over the process of dialogue initiated by the central government and no solution could be possible without considering the views of Jammu, Ladakh and other leaders of the country. He emphasized the need to keep security of public of J&K state into consideration and added that no discussion / dialogue should be out of the constitutional frame work.
The meeting, which was chaired by State President Ashok Khajuria, also held thread bare discussion over a number of issues, particularly the prevailing situation in J&K and the role of Central government and its initiatives of giving weight age to the separatist leaders without taking into confidence political parties and organizations.
The meeting was also briefed of the organizational activities and the just concluded membership drive.
Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, Dr. Nirmal Singh, Th. Ranjit Singh, Chander Parkash Ganga, Satish Sharma, Suresh Jamwal, Rajesh Gupta, Shamsher Singh Manhas, Bali Bhagat, S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa, Vibodh Gupta, Pawan Gupta, Sat Sharma, Ramesh Arora (Adv.), Balbir Ram, Parmod Kapahi, Shiv Kumar Gupta, Ashwani Bali, Jugal Kishore Sharma, Ch. Sukhnandan, Durga Dass, Master Lal Chand, Baldev Raj Sharma, Ch. Shyam, Prof. Gharu Ram and Mohan Singh were also present in the meeting.
