| Clash between surrendered militants | | | Jammu / July 21, 2006
A Special Police Officer (SPO), also a surrendered militant of LeT who joined his duty just six days ago, killed a surrendered militant and fled away along with his service weapon from the spot of incident here today at Ramban.
According to reports, a SPO identified as Tariq Ahmed son of Asadullah of Ind, attached with 58 RR, killed a surrendered militant of Hizbul Mujahideen outfit identified as Shabbir Ahmed son of Abdullah of Ind, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Gool and fled away from the spot along with his service weapon.
According to sources, SPO killed the surrendered militant on account of an old rivalry. It is to mention that he as enrolled into police under the rehabilitation policy of surrendered policy.
