| Police Public School Celebrates Annual Day | | | Early Times Report Srinagar Nov 28 Jammu and Kashmir Police Public School Bemina, Srinagar celebrated its annual day by organizing a grand function at Tagore Hall Srinagar. Deputy Inspector General of Police, CKR Srinagar Hemant Lohia (IPS) was Chief Guest on the occasion. To start with Principal of the school Tazim Wahidi presented the annual report. While addressing the chief guest DIG, CKR, Hamant Lohia complimented the principal and staff for their efforts for making the school one of the best schools of the Valley. Chief guest further said that the police public school in state are trying to present quality education to the wards of the police personnel. He said the efforts have been made to provide best library and laboratory facilities to the students. DIG also distributed awards and certificates among the meritorious students of academics and other events colorful musical opera ‘Gul Dasta’ was presented by the students of the school. The principal in his report informed that the school got 100% result in eight class Board examinations with a position and 46 distinctions. He said that the school calendar was implemented fully. The school organised various Socio-cultural events including two environment trips to Dachigam and Kokernag-Verinag.
