Trade unionist demands relief for orphans of Kathua road tragedy

A. Chandan, organizer, Trade Union Congress appealed the State Govt to provide relief to orphan children who parents were died in tragic road accidents.
Addressing media persons here today, A. Chandan demanded mechanism so that orphan children could continue their studies and also get shelter with Govt patronage. Chandan said that three children in the age group of 5-9 years were rendered orphans after their parents died in a road accident along with ten others at Baghial Morn in Kathua district on November 3, 2009.
Kamal Kishore and his wife Seema Devi died in this accident leaving behind three children - Monika 9 years, Anil 7 years and Sunil 5 years who forced to live pathetic life as they have no moral support of relatives besides they too have poor family background.
Chandan appealed the Govt to provide relief and education in support of these orphan children.
