| JWAM threatens to start stir against ‘price hike’ | | | Early Times Report Jammu Nov 28 Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has threatened for Jammu Bandh in protest against the failure of Centre and State Govt to control the price rise. Addressing media persons here today, Sunil Dimple, president, JWAM appealed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to take effective measures to control the price rise in J&K. He also demanded that Chief Minister should take up this rising prices problem issue with the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and Agriculture Minister Shard Pawar. He further demanded the Govt to open ‘Govt sale outlet counters’, for the sale of essential commodities at subsidized rates for the common masses besides taking serious action against black marketers and hoarders. Sunil Dimple said that soon the agitation programme will be announced to pressurize the State and Central Govt, to control the rising prices with consultation and taking in to confidence all the organizations and parties fighting against the rising prices.
