Jammu, Nov 28: The 8th J&K state ‘Matsogi-Do championship’ was inaugurated at Jodhamal Public School here today.
The chief guest, deputy chief minister Tara Chand declared the meet open with the release of balloons while welcome address was given by the principal of Jodhamal schools, Krishna Bhati. The president of Matsogi-Do association, Taranjeet Singh Tony on the said that approximately 600 students from nearly 30 schools and clubs of all the districts of J&K state are taking part in the championship.
He appreciated that school management which had extended total logistics and transport support for all the participants.
Earlier the dy. CM commended the management, principal and staff of Jodhamal school for their state of art infrastructure, extensive facilities and laudable efforts in promoting sports and other activities in the school.s
