| Sham lauds role of NGOs | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 28- Minister for Health Sham Lal Sharma has lauded the role of NGOs in providing solace do the ailing masses by organizing health camps in rural and far off areas. The Minister said this at a concluding day function of 4- day eye camp organized by Viklang Chhattra Trust Blindness Control Society in collaboration with Sant Narikari Mandal branch, Akhnoor today.
On the occasion, organizer of the society lauded the role of founder of Viklang Chhattra Trust which has organized 104th eye camps in Jammu province so far. During the camp, 20 patients were operated out of 27 and rest of the patients have been advised to attend the next camp commencing from December 10.. The patients were operated by the Doctors of Sub District Hospital, Akhnoor and spectacles and medicines were be provided free of cost to the patients by the Society.
Later, the Minister inspected the ongoing work on waiting hall in the Sub District Hospital and gave on the spot instructions to the concerned agency for its speedy completion.
