| Chib lauds role of Private schools in imparting quality education | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, NOVEMBER 29- Present Government headed by Mr. Omar Abdullah is keen on upgrading the quality of education in State for enabling the students to compete in every field at national and international level.
Speaking at an Annual Day Function of Stephen’s International Public School, Miran Sahib at Abhinav Theatre here today, the Minister for Medical Education and Technical Education, Mr. R.S. Chib said that concerted efforts are on to upgrade the infrastructure in school, so that the students get adequate opportunity to excel in different fields.
The Minister lauded the role of private schools in supplementing the efforts of the Government in providing education to young generation. He said that this school has evolved into an institution of repute within a short span of time. He asked the management of private school to introduce modern equipment and infrastructure in the school, so that quality education is provided to the children for their better future. He asked the teacher fraternity to pay attention to the all round education of the children.
On the occasion, a scintillating cultural programme was presented by tiny tots of the school which was highly appreciated by the audience. The Minister gave away prizes to the participating students as well as those excelling in curricular and extracurricular activities.
While presenting the Annual Day Report of the school, the Principal, Mr. I. Daniel highlighted the achievements registered by the school besides its academic persuasions aimed at over all development of the students.
