5 Die, 35 injured in road mishaps

Jammu November 29: Five persons died and 35 others were injured in different road accidents in Jammu.

One Matador bearing registration number JK02W/587 on way from Narsingpura to Pargwal rolled down near Narsingpura, resulting in on spot death of Bittu son of Mangat Ram resident of Pathankote and injuries to twelve persons. Injured were shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment.


One Tata mobile bearing registration number JK02AE/9951 rolled down near Jawa Near Karah, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Thathri, resulting in on spot death of Dev Raj son of Binu Ram resident of Bablota Dayar Gali, Doda and injuries to one persons. Injured was shifted to district hospital Doda for treatment.


One motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AC/6639 hit by N.C Vehicle at Dangri, falling under the jurisdiction of police station R.S Pura, resulting death of motorcyclist Reshpal Singh son of Piaray Singh resident of Gharani at GMC Jammu and injuring pillion mate namely Rakesh son of Krishan Lal resident of Gharani. He has been admitted in GMC Jammu for treatment.


One motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AH/3429 driven by Ganesh Singh son of Inder Singh and pillion mate Shamash Din son of Sharief residents of Sidhra, hit a parapet at Nomain Chak, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Katra, resulting in death of Ganesh Singh and injuries to Shamash Din. Injured was shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment.


Abhimanyu Singh @ Abhi Chib son of Sham Krishan Singh resident of Man Chak who was admitted in GMC Jammu after injuries in raod accident at Jourian, succumbed to his injured


One truck bearing registration number JK02F/6337 coming from Srinagar to Jammu driven by Amrik Singh son of Balwant Singh resident of Nanak Nagar Jammu, hit an auto bearing registration number JK14B/1007 at Khairi, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Udhampur one person was injured. Injured was shifted to district hospital Udhampur for treatment.
