| Bumper-cum-seller meet concludes | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, NOVEMBER 30 – Ten-day exhibition-cum-buyer seller meet concluded at Dussehra Ground Gandhi Nagar today, which was organized by Jammu and Kashmir, State Women’s Development Corporation and sponsored by National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC), Ministry of Minority Affairs Government of India.
As many as, 67 women beneficiaries belonging to various Self Help Groups and holders of different units financed under NMDFC loan scheme from different corners of State took part in the exhibition.
During exhibition exhibitors made sales approximately worth Rs. 5.50 lakhs. The products which were displayed in the exhibition include Kashmiri hand made shawls, /pashmina embroidery suits/sozni items/crewel items, papier-machie, jute items, dry fruit, artificial flowers tie and dye suits bed cover, cushion covers, sweaters, jam and pickle. The aim of conducting such exhibitions is to provide marketing support to loan beneficiaries of JKWDC, besides provision of an opportunity for mutual interaction among co beneficiaries/SHGs.
