Jammu, Nov 30: Youth Movement for peace successfully concluded the last day with the Mege-Event of YMP Festival 2009 at Abhinav Theatre, Jammu.
As per a release, Prize Distribution of the previous events of YMP Festival 2009 which included 10 different Inter- School, Inter- Deptt. and Inter- College Activities. Different departments of Jammu University and about 30 schools, 25 colleges from different districts of J&K State participated in the events of YMP Festival 2009.
In Inter School Cartooning Amandeep Singh (Model Academy), Zaafal Chrungoo (Army School, Damana) and Simarpreet Singh (Airforce) bagged 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize respectively. In Inter Deptt. Slogan Writing on Secularism Sahil Sharm (GGM Science College), Anil Bhushan (chemistry Deppt, JU), Aashima Puri (GCET) bagged 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize respectively.
Where as Sandeep Kumar (JK Collage of Education, Kunjwani), Rakshit Sharma (GGM Sc. College ), & Samridhi Sharma (GCW, Gandhinagar), Shivali (MCA, MBS) & Isha Sharm (RGM college of ED, Kahtua) won 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize in Inter Deptt. Essay Writing on Role of Youth in the builing of Nation.
In the Seniro Category of Inter-school G.K. Test, Abhishek Verma (Army School, Damana) bagged 1st, 2nd prize whereas 3rd position was shared by Raghav Sharma (JK Public, Pank.) & Akshey singh (Oriental Academy) whereas in Junior Category, Param Bhoominathan (Airforce), Shubham Rajrah (JK Public, Kunjwani) & Kavach gupta (K.V. 1 GN) clinched 1st 2nd & 3rd position respectively in Inter school G.K. Test.
Unviksha (Lawrence Public School), Shagun (Army School, Damana), ayushi gupta (Airforce) bagged 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize in Inter school Poetry Recitation. Whereas in Inter Deptt. Symposium on Global Warming Huma Kham (Commerce College) bagged 1st Navjot Singh & Junaid both from GCET shared 2nd & Rakshit won 3rd prize and in Inter Deptt. Symposium on Corruption Ramneek Singh (GGM Sc. College) Nitin Parihar (Law School, JU) won 1st & 2nd and Sapan Sharma (Biotech, JU) 7 Pooja Jamwal (Jammu Law Collge) shared 3rd prize.
Shubham Kundal (JK Public, Kunj) won 1st, Devika (S.D. Tarapuri) *& Shruity (Army School, Damana) shared 2nd & Harashkirti (Airforce) and Marukh (JK Public, Panj) shared 3rd position in Inter School Debate competition on Western Inclination.
In Inter School Project Competition on Science & Technology 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize went to Carmel Convent, Govt. Girls Hr. Sec. school, Mubarak Mandi & Army School, Damana respectively. Akshat Basnotra (S.D. Tarapuri), Shivani Mehra (Army School, Damana) both took 1st, Jessica Bal (carmel convent), Rohit Sharma (ASH Hr. Sec.) & Surbhi (NEES) all won 2nd & shubham Rajrah (JK Public, Kunj.) bagged 3rd prize in inter School Art & Craft Competition.
1st, 2nd & 3rd pirze went to JK Public, Kunj. & Presentation Convent, Model Academy & govt. Girls Higher Sec. School, Mubarak Mandi in Inter School Group Song Competition on Patriotism.
