| Demolition of Juggis of a particular community resented | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 30- Dogra Liberation Front (DLF), Shiv sena (United) and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) along with 16 families today held protest demonstration outside Divisional Commissioner’s Office here against demolition of Juggis near Mandir-Masjid Chowk.
The protesters were raising slogans against the Deputy Commissioner Jammu and sought explanation from him.
Speaking on the occasion, DLP president Ram Pal Dogra accused the Deputy Commissioner’s Office for targeting the Juggi dwellers of a particular community as the Juggis of other communities were in tact.
He said that juggis were the only shelter for 16 Hindu families but the DC office at the helm of affairs demolished structures leaving the poor families on roads.
DLF, SS (U) and VHP warned the concerned authorities of dire consequences if they fail to compensate the affected families.
