| APMCC castigates Omar for his stance favouring triangular talks | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 30 Taking strong exception of the statement of J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah favouring triangular talks between India, Pakistan and Separatists, All Party Migrant Coordination Committee (APMCC) has termed its irresponsible attitude from Chief Minister of state and an intolerable. Chairman of APMCC Vinod Pandit over a telephone said neither Omar nor India must forget that there are more than eight lakhs Kashmiri Pandits (KPs) who have faced persecution since 1947 till date and thus the community needs not to be ignored while discussing anything for the Kashmir resolution. Vinod regretted one sided approach of the government of India and the successive governments in Jammu and Kashmir has led to the annihilation of Kashmiri Pandit community who are the real aborigines of Kashmir. He however reminded chief minister that such appeasement policy of the successive state governments had emboldened separatist elements to wreak havoc in the state. Wondering about the candid admission of CM’s support to ‘Triangular talks and the Quite Diplomacy’ Pandit said exiled community is simmering with anger over complete deletion of their mention in Chief Ministers statements which only shows the pro-separatists bent of mind and complete ignorance of the political aspect of the young chief minister. Asking the Chief Minister to issue a rejoinder immediately as other Pro-India sections of the society of the state viz Gujjars, Dogras, KPs, Buddhists and common Kashmiri Muslims etc would not sit silent and let the separatists and militants decide their future.
