| Anchal dares CM to call off his interfaith marriage or grant her justice | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 30— Blaming Govt for inaction in Rajneesh Murder case, Anchal Sharma widow of Rajneesh Sharma on Monday asked Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to either call-off his own interfaith marriage or grant justice to her ‘murdered husband’. “I have no more faith on this present coalition Govt in Jammu and Kashmir”, said Anchal while talking to media persons here today and adding, “If loving and marrying a person of another community is crime, I simply would ask Chief Minister to call his own interfaith marriage or give me justice”. “What they have done to my husband cannot be repaid in any kind. I only want the same to be reciprocated in same coin to the culprits including my family members also” she said while dismissing having any faith in the ongoing judicial proceedings in Srinagar over the case. She however termed the magisterial enquiry at Srinagar is mere eyewash saying that state government is heavily swayed by a particular community phobia and fears to come out of its influence. “Had it been a case with a daughter of a minister or a person of influence in valley government would have come up with a decision within no time,” she said and alleging discrimination among the regions. She said if people (the Hindus and Muslims can’t be allowed to live together then the regions should be separated. She also reiterated her earlier statement that, “Had Rajnish converted himself into Islam, he besides getting his life saved would have turned a hero for our community in Srinagar He was murdered because he was a Hindu”. “We are holding a silent protest demonstration in front of the Chief Minister residence on December 4. This would include all the members of our Samiti wearing black badges and tying black cloth on our mouths to register our silent protest against the deaf and dumb administration,” said Mahila Sanrakshan Samiti (MSS) core committee member Mamta Singh. Mahila Sanrakshan Samiti (MSS) Core Committee Members Mamta Singh, Priya Sethi, Sushila Abrol, Anuradha Charak, Usha Choudhary and Sushma Sharma said that the minorities in the state are not safe in the present NC-Congress rule and the same is clear from the fact that Rajneesh Sharma, a youth hailing from Jammu and belonging to minority Community, was tortured and killed in police custody and today even after passing of over one month even FIR has not been registered against the guilty police officers. Aanchal’s husband Rajneesh Sharma was allegedly killed in police custody in Kashmir on October 5.
