| Veeri demands probe of Ashok Kichloo's murder | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 1 Former Minister and MLA Beijbehara, Abdul Rehman Veeri today demanded a through probe into the murder of Ashok Kumar Kichloo, Assistant Direcctor of Department of Economics and Statistics. Kichloo who was killed on November 30. Abdul Rehman Veeri today visited house of the deceased Horticulture officer and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family. Interacting with the bereaved family members, Mr Veeri assured them that he will take up the matter with the higher authorities to get this murder thoroughly proved. He demanded that all culprits involved in this heinous crime should be immediately brought to book. The former Minister asked the State Government to provide every possible help to the family of the deceased officer. While paying tributes to the departed soul, Mr Veeri prayed the Almighty to give courage to bear this irreparable loss. He termed Ashok Kumar Kichloo as dedicated government officer. Meanwhile Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) spokesperson and Sr Advocate A K Sawhney has condemned the brutal lathicharge on the protesting SRTC employees and asked present coalition Govt to desist from such human rights violations. He also has demanded that the stipend or sustenance allowance be granted to the unemployed youth without any fail, now else the PDP will launch a massive agitation for the youth in the State.
