| Implementation of Katra Master Plan 2021 hailed | | | Early Times Report
Katra, Dec 1- Hailing the government decision of implementing Katra Master Plan 2021 without succumbing to the pressure tactics of few house holds of Katra town and money power, inhabitants of religious Katra town, have in one voice, said that this decision would go a long way in decongesting the town which is thronged by nearly 75 lakh devotees annually.
This rightful, honest and land mark bold decision of strictly implementing the Katra Master Plan is one of the series of decisions taken by the coalition government for the welfare of the general public’, the inhabitants said. They complimented the government for taking up decongestion measures by taking up the new bus stand spread over 423 kanals of land which was reserved for the purpose since more than 20 years. Existing bus stand, Panthal road, counter No. 2 Bus stand and Katra Bazar are already over saturated and congested enough to cater to the growing needs of the transporters.
