| Adbi Kunj condoles ‘Sofi and Butt’s demises | | |

Adbi Kunj J&K, Jammu held a condolence and literary cum poetic meet at its literary centre which was presided over by Tahir Muztir an eminent literary figure and former Culture & Literary Advisor to the then state Chief Minister.
The proceedings were conducted by Talib Kashmiri, General Secretary, Adbi Kunj.
In the onset Sham Talib President, Adbi Kunj introduced Muztir to the participants and briefly threw light on his literary achievements. This was followed by a resolution expressing deep condolences on the demise of two veteran journalists of the state viz. Sofi Gh. Mohd. (Editor daily Srinagar Times) and Sonna Ullah Butt (Editor daily Aftab) who recently passed away at Srinagar.
Glowing tributes were also paid to eminent novelist & short story writer Krishen Chander and well known Dogri writer K. S. Madhukar on their 86th ( Nov 23 ) and 79th ( Nov 28) birth anniversaries, respectively.
The literary and poetic sessions were also held in which various writers and poets participated and read out their works.
