Air Force School celebrated Exhibition cum Annual Day Function on Tuesday wherein Gp Capt Ghar Singh Station Commander, Air Force Station Jammu and Chairman School Management Committee was the Chief Guest.
The chief guest was received by Wg Cdr R K Misra, Chief Administrative Officer on his arrival.
The celebrations started with the chief guest inaugurating the exhibition meticulously put up by the students of the school who also interacted with the students & appreciated the efforts invested by the students of Science, Eco, SSt and Maths club in preparing the projects and models on various themes apart from watching the Photo gallery.
Flt Lt Alka Chaudhary O/I C Air Force School welcomed the Chief Guest in her brief speech.
Vikesh Sandhal Principal of the School presented the Annual Report of the School highlighting the achievement of the school which included 100% pass percentage of class 10th and 12th, ISO certification 9001: 2008 and visit of class 12th students to National Defence Academy Khadakvasla, Pune. He further highlighted the future development plans of the school which includes the full conversion of each class room into interactive classroom. This was followed by a spectacular outdoor display of artistic talent which included Street play, scintillating Fusion, Aerobics, Kathak, Dogri, Punjabi and Rajasthani dance performances by the students. The National Level gymnast, Ms Natasha spellbound the audience by her ribbon- rope gymnastic performance.
Students who excelled in Academics and various curricular and extracurricular activities during the academic session were awarded prizes by the Chief Guest.
The celebrations ended with the singing of the National Anthem. |
