Ex. mayor corporators hail Azad’s visionary step

Jammu, Dec 2: The bill to be introduced in the parliament to bar doctors from taking favours from pharmaceutical houses has been welcomed by the ex.mayor Narinder Singh along with Zafar Javed Ahmed, Sanjay Mahey and Balwant Kumar Ballu all corporators of Jammu Municipal Corporation.
As per press release all these corporators have welcomed the steps taken by the union health and family welfare minister Gulam Nabi Azad.
The bill when passed in the parliament will become an act and the patients under going treatments in various government hospitals will get relief as they are left at the mercy of God by the doctors.
They said that such a bill when introduced in the parliament will discourage the medicos to accept gifts in kind and will provide an opportunity to patients with limited resources to get cheaper medical services and will prevent the unhealthy practice. They congratulated the union health minister for such a visionary step.
