| Nation ready to face China’s possible threat of war: Arora | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 2- BJP State spokesperson Ramesh Arora has said that threat of China should not be undermined, as China after having failed internally on maximum fronts and growing unrest within the country, may wedge war against India in order to divert the attention of the public from internal issues like unemployment, water and electricity problem, economic recession and the increasing feeling among masses for democracy. ‘We should not take threat lightly”, he said. Disallowing construction of road in Leh on the Indian side and circulation of map in the media indicating J&K as separate country, affixing stamp of VISA on plane paper, all reflects the intentions of China, he pointed out. ‘Come what may our state and centre government should appeal the people to be prepared for any proposed threat’, he said and added that masses are ready to face any war if imposed by China but Indian leadership should not depend much upon USA or Russia. ‘We have to be self sufficient to face any challenge as we do not want to repeat 1962’, he cautioned. Arora said BJP may have different stand over different issues but by supporting 1994 resolution in Parliament about Kashmir problem and by supporting resolution over terrorism in 2009, we have clearly indicated that BJP cannot compromise over the issue of National importance. ‘Government should have a will, public and political parties will stand by it in the national interest’, he added.
