| HC declines to extend interim order regarding seniority of JD in SSA | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 03- Declining to extend the interim order regarding seniority of Joint Director SSA, Justice JP Singh of J&K High Court observed that since the petitioner has opted to remain absent the Court does not find any justification to extend the interim order and directed the registry to list this petition and petitioner’s CMP for consideration in the week following next. This direction was passed in a petition filed by Rajinder Kumar Sharma challenging the adjustment of Khursheed Reshi Incharge State Project Director Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan. Justice JP Singh while dealing with matter observed that none has put in appearance on behalf of petitioner seeking extension of the order which was issued by the Court whereas private respondent present in person seeks vacation of Court order. In the event any objection to the continuance of the interim order by a party respondent to the proceedings, extension of the interim order may be considered for its grant only if a case was made out for such extension. As the petitioner has opted to remain absent, so Court does not seek any justification to extend the operation of interim order. JNF
