| Two PWD officials suspended in Doda | | |

JAMMU, DECEMBER 03 –Minister for R&B, Mr. G. M. Saroori today ordered suspension of two Junior Assistants of R&B division Doda.
During a surprise visit to different offices in Doda town, the Minister found two junior Assistants, Mr. Adil Rashid and Mr. Sunney Parshad of PWD Division, Doda absent from duty. Taking a strong notice of the absence of officials, he issued on-the-spot orders for placing them under suspension.
Mr. Saroori asked all Government functionaries to be punctual and work with dedication so that the general public do not face any inconvenience.
Later, chairing a meeting of District Administration, the Minister asked the District Development Commissioner, Doda to ensure punctuality in Government offices. He asked the officers to make the delivery mechanism efficient so that benefits of the schemes percolate to the general masses. He called for putting in sincere efforts for ensuring the targets laid down for different schemes in the region are achieved in stipulated time.
