Jammu, Dec 3: Barely a couple of days after barbaric murder of an officer of the Department of Economics and Statistics, yet another shocking and mysterious death has been reported in the town.
One Rimpi Bhagat of 17 years daughter of Manohar Lal, corporator in Jammu Municipal Corporation, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a canal at Balicharana area under the jurisdiction of Satwari Police Station.
She went to Nakul Palace at Baranai to attend a marriage function with her mother and brother where she complaint of vomiting and for the purpose she went outside from the palace but she did not come back. Relatives of the deceased informed that after she went missing a missing report was lodged with the concerned police station and today early in the morning her body was found in a canal in Belicharana area. Police has not ascertained the reason behind the incident. A police spokesman informed that her body was rushed to GMC hospital for postmortem and added that nothing can be said before receiving of postmortem report. However, police has registered a case under 174 Cr PC and is investigating the matter.
