| ReZ stipend doubled | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, DEC 3: The Government has approved the increase in the stipend of Rehbar-e-Zerat personnel from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 3000 per month with effect from the date the Budget Speech was made by the Finance Minister in the Legislative Assembly i.e. 10th of August, 2009.
The Chief Minister has also directed the agriculture department to gainfully utilize the services of Rehbar-e-Zerat personnel for capacity building of farmers and enhancing the agriculture production in the state by using modern technology. He has also asked the department to make a road map for the regularization of the services of Rehbar-e-Zerat personnel on the basis of their performance in these services.
This initiative of the Government will not only ensure productive utilization of the Rehbar-e-Zerat personnel but shall eventually also ensure their regularization and absorption in the Government services. CM receives Hajjis, at Srinagar Airport
