| Wildlife Week celebrations continue | | |
BHADERWAH OCT-06- As a part of Wildlife Week celebrations, a symposium on ‘Floral and faunal resources of J&K and their significance’ was organized at Government Degree College here today, in which several students participated. The function organized by Wildlife Warden Kishtwar was presided over by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Bhaderwah Talat Parvez. Amarjeet Singh of Degree College bagged the first prize in the competition while Seema and Sakeena both students of GHHS Bhaderwah bagged the 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. A similar function was organized at Government Degree College Doda where a score of students took part in the symposium’ Importance of Wildlife conservation with special emphasis on man-animal conflict’. Rabiya Sofi won the first prize, Tahir Ahmed the second and Altaf Ahmed the third prize in the competition.
