| Display Your Talent 2009-10 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 5: The department of students welfare ( DSW), university of Jammu conducted on the spot essay writing contest under the “Display Your Talent” 2009-10 here today.
The topics of the contests were “Global Recession in India”, ‘Role of India in Regional Peace Building” and “Impact of Media on Youth”. Forty five students from various teaching departments of the university and its affiliated colleges participated in the competition. The participants were required to write an essay on any one of the topics, comprising 2000 to 3000 words in sixty minutes time duration.
The teacher incharge of the essay writing contest Dr. Anupma Vohra apprised the participants about the rules and regulations.
The event was supervised by Prof. JS Tara, Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Shohab Inayat Malik, Associate Dean (SW) and Vinay Thusoo, Public Relations Officer.
The result of the competition shall be declared later on after evaluation of the scripts.
